About Our Voyages

Where Ye’ll Go On Your Voyage

Most of our pirate voyages follow roughly the same route. After casting off from Fernandina Harbor Marina, we sail a northerly course on the Amelia River, past Fernandina’s historic working waterfront and Old Town, site of the first European settlement on Amelia Island.

Just past Quarantine Reach, we’ll steer East for views of Fort Clinch, then north again across the Amelia River Entrance into Georgia waters, and along the southernmost tip of Cumberland Island, where we often see wild horses on the beach. After turning back south, we’ll carefully skirt Little Tiger Island — reputedly crawling with a huge population of rattlesnakes — on the starboard side before returning to port.

90-Minute Pirate Voyage

9:00 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. daily plus an extra afternoon cruise (times vary seasonally) Thur - Sun

Our 90-minute voyage is perfect for families with lots of pirate-themed fun, but is also enjoyable for adults with spectacular scenery, wildlife, and historic and cultural sites. We’ll sail past historic Old Town, Fort Clinch, Cumberland Island, and the unspoiled salt marsh around Little Tiger Island. We can’t guarantee we’ll see dolphins or Cumberland Island’s famous wild horses, but it’s unusual not to. Bottled water and light snacks are provided on board.

Sunset Pirate Cruise

Sun - Thu - times vary seasonally

Lower key than the 90-minute voyage but still incorporating plenty of piracy to keep your crew entertained, the sunset cruise lasts a full 2 hours. We follow roughly the same course but linger a bit more to enjoy the region’s natural beauty.

BYOG (Bring Yer Own Grog) Rumrunner Cruise

Fri & Sat - times vary seasonally
